BLODGEN

From NECROSOCIETY Wiki, the necrotrap archive

BLODGEN is an underground experimental vocalist and engineer whose work is defined by a fast, hard-hitting flow and an aggressive delivery. Lyrically he leans horror-based rather than militant, separating him from much of the wider scene. He maintains a primarily digital presence, distributing his work through SoundCloud and engaging with the underground community on Instagram.

BLODGEN is affiliated with NECROSOCIETY, a rotating collective of underground artists who pioneered Necrotrap, an experiment with trap and metal that grew into its own genre, as well as the IRAQ-A-HOLICS circle. He was discovered by NECROSOCIETY in early 2026 and definitively joined the collective as of June 2026.

BLODGEN is currently the only Australian artist working in dark trap and necrotrap to utilise the natural Australian accent in his delivery, giving him a uniquely recognisable sound within the scene.

Musical Style

BLODGEN's music is characterized by:

  • Aggressive, fast-paced flow - A relentless delivery with lyrics that flow naturally bar to bar, prioritising momentum and impact
  • Horror-driven lyricism - Recurring themes of horror, schizophrenia, psychosis, and dissociative identity disorder (DID), with occasional military imagery surfacing rather than dominating
  • Australian accent as signature - The natural Australian accent used as a defining sonic trait, unique among artists in the necrotrap and dark trap niche
  • Industrial and experimental production - Abrasive, textured beds drawing on industrial and experimental sound design

Aesthetic & visual identity

BLODGEN's aesthetic and overall identity is deliberately non-stagnant, shifting between presentations rather than locking to a fixed look. The single constant across his visual identity is the chrome mannequin mask, which serves as his one recognisable signature.
